Function description
The Maastricht UMC+ DataHub team is looking for a talented Health Data Specialist who is interested in supporting the usage of our institutional infrastructure. The primary scope of this vacancy is designing and maintaining clinical data models to use in our new health data platform.
As a Health Data Specialist, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team, consisting of DevOps engineers, data stewards and Data Engineers from both university and hospital. You will ensure that medical data from various domains will be modeled, standardized, and incorporated in the DataHub infrastructure. You will work together with experts from the (research & care) domains to bridge the gap between academic research, the academic hospital and the latest developments in (open-source) technology.

At the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), everything revolves around healthy living. FHML, which is the largest faculty of Maastricht University, is formed by an (inter)national community of employees and students. The faculty offers a wide range of Dutch and English-taught bachelor's and master's programs in innovative educational concepts in which the emphasis is always on building bridges to practice.
The multidisciplinary research of the FHML focuses on a number of carefully chosen topical current themes.
